(It’s the summer of ‘99, eating a handful of blueberries before jumping back into the pool, Saturday morning cartoons drinking cereal milk from the bowl, house phone calls, ramen noodles, space buns, razor scootin around to see which neighborhood kids are home with no sense of time but the setting sun….ya know, THAT feeling.)

(Paying homage to mitochondrial mutha! Transmuting pain into joy, reclaiming innocence and childlike fun, extending gratitude and healing seven generations forward and back. Each eye flower has seven petals on the seven characters overlaying female anatomy of seven layers, centered around a mitochondrion (where resilient DNA is contained, inherited solely from mother).)
